Mahavir Jayanti Special Assembly (2025)

Event: Mahavir Jayanti Special Assembly Date: 09.04.2025 Time: 9:30 am - 10:00 am Venue: Auditorium, Hall 1, STEM World School Classes: Playgroup to Class 5 On the joyous eve of Mahavir Jayanti, the students of STEM World School from PG to Class 5 gathered for a special morning assembly to celebrate the birth of Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism. The assembly was filled with devotion, learning, and a spirit of peace and non-violence. The celebration began with the chanting of the Namokar Mantra, the most sacred prayer in Jainism. To help our little ones understand its deep meaning, teachers explained each line in a simple way: Namo Arihantanam – We bow to the souls who have conquered anger, pride, greed, and fear. Namo Siddhanam – We bow to those who have attained perfect peace and freedom. Namo Ayariyanam – We bow to our wise teachers who show us the right path. Namo Uvajjhayanam – We bow to the scholars who teach us good values. Namo Loe Savva S?h?nam – We bow to all saints who live truthfully and peacefully. Students learned that this mantra is not for asking anything, but to show respect and become kind, honest, and brave—just like Lord Mahavir. The event inspired everyone to follow the path of love, peace, and simplicity in our everyday lives and was an enlightening experience. We look forward to many such experiences that enrich us for years to come.
