Christmas is the season of love, harmony, and spreading awareness. Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25th, as it is considered to be the day on which Jesus Christ was born. The name of Christmas comes from the mass of Jesus. Christmas celebration is a symbol of peace and love. It is celebrated around the world with joy and happiness. Christmas day celebration and New Year's Day are usually celebrated jointly in schools. Students and teachers create and present programmes commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. To make the event more glorious, the students of STEM World School from classes L.N – 2 celebrated the Christmas day with children participating in a number of activities. Everyone dressed themselves in red and white clothing. Students sang lovely carols and danced beautifully to wish their teachers and classmates ‘Happy Christmas’. A combination of songs, dance and music were performed. The toddlers of Lower Nursery presented a splendid dance performance based on the song “Jingle Bell”. To make the music more powerful, the kids of Upper Nursery performed a splendid action song on the song “Snow Flakes.” The young ones of class K.G performed a medley on the song “Jingle Bell”. The children of classes 1 and 2 had a wonderful “fashion show” performance. The children were taught about the Christmas day story in order to explain the festival's significance. Numerous events were planned, including the creation of Christmas cards, Santa masks, hand-crafted gifts etc. Lastly, the function ended with the arrival of Santa Clause along with the song “Jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way”. The children were overwhelmed when Santa emerged in front of them with his sack of gifts. The Santa Clause gave them blessings and distributed the gifts among them. Christmas celebration makes the end of the year a beautiful one. It spreads love and harmony among people of different religions. The ending of the Christmas celebration marks the beginning of the New Year.
