Rules And Regulations

school diary:

Every student must be in possession of his / her diary on every working day.

uniform:

We believe that children should wear their uniform with pride and enjoy a sense of belonging. However, clothes need to be easily managed so that a child can be independent. Our school uniform consists of :-

PrePrimary

house uniform

I-VIII:

Girls and Boys: House coloured T-shirts with Grey collar. Grey track pants with House coloured stripes . White keds and white socks.

Students from class-I onwards must wear their House uniform on every Friday.

All Students from P.G. to class I must carry a spare set of school uniform everyday in their school bag. All students must carry two school napkins everyday

Students must come to the school in neatly laundred uniform and polished shoes. Hair should be trimmed and nails must be pared regularly.

For Girls:

  1. Hair below shoulder length should be neatly plaited.

  2. No coloured clips, bands or combs should be worn, only black colour is permitted.

  3. No jewellery except a pair of small ear studs or earings may be worn. Any breach of this rule will cause the attending articles to be conscated and retained by the school

  4. Use of mehendi, hair-colouring, make-up, kajal, nail-polish is not permitted under any circumstances.

For Boys:

Boys should have neat hair cuts. Eccentric hair cuts will invite punishment.

discipline:

  1. A student must be in time for Assembly at 8:10 a.m. The school gate close at 8:05 a.m. Students who come late will not be allowed to attend classes on that day.

    Parents will either come themselves or send an authorized escort to take the student back home.

  2. A minimum of 80% attendance per term is required.

  3. On being absent, a leave letter from the guardian must be submitted to the class teacher, clearly stating the reason for absence.

  4. In case of illness, the Principal must be notied in writing by the third day, and the anticipated time of absence must be mentioned

  5. Students absent from the school on medical grounds must produce a letter or an entry in their school diary from parents or guardians when they rejoin.

    This must be supported by a medical certificate.

  6. Students afllicted by infectious diseases or exposed to such diseases in their homes must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school.

  7. A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor's certificate permitting him / her to do so.

    Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school.

    1. Chicken pox - 21 days

    2. Measles - two weeks after the rash disappears

    3. Mumps - 22 days

    4. Jaundice - 6 weeks

    5. Whooping cough - 6 weeks

    6. Cholera - after complete recovery.

  8. The school does not provide for any re-testing for class-assignments, unit tests etc, which are missed due to absence.

  9. There is no such thing as a half-day leave for students. Either the student is in school for the entire working day or he stays at home. If an appointment is made with a doctor, the student must not be sent to school on that day. Requests to send students home early after unit tests etc will be automatically turned down

  10. The Principal's prior permission for leave of absence from school is essential. Students who are absent without prior sanction for more than one week are liable to have their names struck off the school rolls.

withdrawal procedure:

  1. In case of students being withdrawn from the school, fees up to the nearest quarter has to be cleared to obtain the Transfer Certicate from the date of application for withdrawal.

  2. The date of application of withdrawal should not be less than 30 days from the date of withdrawal. In case of notice period of less than 30 days fees for current and next quarter has to be paid.
