Namami Gange Programme’, is an Integrated Conservation Mission, approved as ‘Flagship Programme’ by the Union Government in June 2014 with budget outlay of Rs.20,000 Crore to accomplish the twin objectives of effective abatement of pollution, conservation and rejuvenation of National River Ganga. It is a great opprtunity for us that we were a part of this programme. It was 3 days workshop (16th to 18th May). Undoubtedly it was an informative and interesting session for us. From STEM World School the students from class 6-8 joined the programme. We the teachers Mrs. Jayasree Mukherjee, Miss Swati Singh, Miss Jyotismta Bhowmick also experienced the workshop with full enthusiasm.Students took part in different activities.
