As the season of cricket going all over the world with the recently concluded Cricket World Cup 2023 turning out to be a nation wide sensation, our Inter House Cricket Tournament has definitely hit the right chord after being successfully staged on 22nd of November, 2023 at the playground of STEM World School. The tournament had a knock out format with the four houses (Aryabhata, Bhabha, Ramanujan & Vivekananda) kicking off via semi finals. In the first semi final, Ramanujan House defeated Vivekananda House quite comprehensively to secure a spot in the finals whereas in the second semi finals, Bhabha house got the better of Aryabhata House. The final turned out to be a stiff contest, with the Bhabha House scoring 27 in their allotted five overs. Despite the best of efforts from the Bhabha bowlers, the batters of Ramanujan House held their nerves to chase that target successfully. The engagement of the audience along with their enthusiastic support was a very heartening sight. Indeed, the tournament appeared to be a grand success with the vibes of a very competitive rivalry setting the tone for more such sporting events in future.
