Saraswati Puja Celebration (2025)

Saraswati Puja is a cherished festival that holds deep cultural and educational significance, especially in schools where students and teachers seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati—the divine source of wisdom, learning, and the arts. At STEM World School, the celebration was marked with devotion, enthusiasm, and a vibrant display of tradition. On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, we have tried to accomplish the talent of one of our budding sculptors, Adittya Narayan Saha of class 11 Humanities, who has sculpted the idol of the goddess of knowledge, Maa Saraswati, this year for the puja at school. Our main objective was to boost the talent of a budding artist and also to inspire other students who are gifted with different talents. The school campus was beautifully decorated with handmade crafts and colourful rangolis, reflecting the creativity and dedication of students and staff. A magnificently adorned idol of Goddess Saraswati was placed near the central gate, ensuring that everyone could offer their prayers as they entered. Dressed in traditional attire, students participated in the rituals with great enthusiasm, offering flowers during the Pushpanjali ceremony. The air resonated with the soothing sounds of devotional songs and hymns, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Following the puja, prasad was distributed among students, adding more joy to the occasion. A sacred yagnya was also conducted, invoking the blessings of Maa Saraswati for wisdom and success in academics. The celebration brought the entire school community together, fostering a sense of unity, culture, and reverence for knowledge. The day concluded with students leaving the premises with bright smiles and cherished memories.
