On 22nd April 2025, STEM World School observed "World Earth Day" at the School Assembly Hall to celebrate the notion of environmental awareness. World Earth Day was first observed on 22nd April 1970, and since then it has been a regular occurrence to promote the idea of maintaining environmental equilibrium to protect our blue planet. With enthusiastic participation from all the students, the ambience at the special assembly for Earth Day was tremendously vibrant. The event was significantly boosted with many engaging speeches, PowerPoint presentations and a very inspirational skit. The skit, named "Save the Earth," featured six characters, with one of them returning from a trip to the hills after experiencing a terrifying landslide. This incident sparked a discussion among the group about the causes and effects of deforestation, such as landslides, food scarcity, drought, climate change, and destruction of ecosystems. Realizing the seriousness of the issue, the group decided to take an action. On the occasion of Earth's Day, they pledged to protect the environment and work towards making the Earth a better place to live. The level of energy and enthusiasm was quite vivacious and made the teachers also enthralled to lead the new generation towards a more sustained and greener tomorrow.
