A Career Counselling session was organized at STEM World School on 28.07.25 with the aim of guiding students towards making informed decisions about their future careers. The session was held in the school auditorium and was attended by the students of Classes 10 to 12. The session was conducted by Dr. Sudipta Majumdar, a professor at Adamas University. The session began by discussing the importance of choosing a career that aligns with one’s interest, strength, and personality. Students were introduced to various career options in science, commerce, humanities, and vocational fields. The speaker also explained how the world of work is changing and how skills such as communication, problem-solving, and adaptability are becoming increasingly important. A question-answer round made the session more engaging and informative. Students were encouraged to explore their interests, set goals, and start planning early for their future. They also learned about the role of Artificial Intelligence in their career. The session ended on a positive note, with students feeling more confident and motivated about their future. Overall, the session was a valuable experience that provided clarity and inspiration to students as they prepare for life beyond school.
