" Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence. It was on15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. It's a day of national pride, remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and celebrating India's unity in diversity. The Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort. A patriotic speech is delivered by the Prime Minister. Schools and colleges organize functions to celebrate the day. Freedom fighters are remembered and honored for their sacrifices. It is a day to celebrate India's unity and diversity. Many people participate in flag hoisting ceremonies. It is a day for reflection on India's journey to freedom. Our independence is a symbol of unity, courage, and resilience—let’s preserve it always. Freedom is earned with sacrifice; let’s protect it with responsibility. Let’s work together to make India stronger and brighter. Pre- primary students of STEM WORLD SCHOOL are celebrating Independence Day with various activities and creativities, let's appreciate them and give them a round of applause.
