On 6th August, 2025, Macmillan Education conducted a city workshop held in Kolkata on AI in Education – Creating impactful teaching-learning experiences. This workshop discussed about artificial intelligence and its subsets such as machine learning and deep learning, also discussed about various inference model such as quantitative association and qualitative and artificial neural network, also discussed about various applications, tasks, features, few AI- based architectures used in various fields, advantages and risk of using AI, how to introduce AI in classroom, and also discussed about how to keep our data safe and secure. Overall, the workshop was very interesting and we learnt about how to cope up with artificial intelligence without being completely dependent on it.
