Diwali Craft Making Activity 4 – 5 (2025)

On October 16, 2025 (Thursday), STEM World School organized a Diwali Craft Making Activity for Classes 4 and 5 in their own classrooms. This special occasion was held to encourage students to showcase their artistic talents and creativity, blending cultural celebration with hands-on learning. - Class 4 topic was Lantern Making with Colored Chart Paper - Students created vibrant lanterns using colored chart paper, exploring shapes, symmetry, and design while learning about Diwali's significance. - The activity nurtured fine motor skills, creativity, and understanding of Diwali traditions. - Class 5 topic was Wall Hanging Diya with Colored Chart Paper - Students crafted beautiful wall hanging diyas using colored chart paper, focusing on patterns, 3D design, and Diwali symbolism (light over darkness). - This promoted artistic expression, hand-eye coordination, and cultural connection. The activity held significance in nurturing students' creative sides alongside STEM education. Students enthusiastically participated, creating artworks that reflected their understanding of Diwali and artistic abilities. Through this event, students explored creativity, expressed themselves through art, and developed artistic skills. Participation helped enhance art skills, critical thinking about Diwali's themes, and confidence in artistic expression.
