Diya Making Activity 1 – 3 (2025)

Diwali is just round the corner and a Diya Making Activity was organized for the little artists of classes 1-3 on 16th October, 2025. The activity was organized to make students aware about our traditions and to feel the good vibes of Diwali with friends and teachers at school. The students had brought readymade diyas which they happily painted and decorated with beads, glitter and sparkly stones. While some children brought clay to try their hands on making diyas. The teachers helped them out and the students thoroughly enjoyed the whole activity. The activity was a success, with students showing keen interest in such creative event. Not all activities are about competitions and learning. It is also about valuing creativity, having a good bond with teachers who guide these little ones and encourage them. It is also about sharing togetherness and happiness of our festivals at school, which is their second home. These events also connect them their traditions, roots and festivals, which should be always promoted in their growing up years.
