Origami Making Activity for classes 1 - 2 (2025)

An engaging Origami Making Activity was conducted to encourage creativity, patience, and fine motor skills among students. Origami, the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, allowed students to turn simple sheets of paper into beautiful models and shapes. Students followed step-by-step instructions to create objects like birds, boats, flowers, and animals. The use of colourful papers and interesting designs made the activity enjoyable and visually appealing. Teachers guided them throughout and helped them understand the value of focus and imagination. This activity not only enhanced their artistic talents but also improved their hand–eye coordination, problem-solving skills, and confidence. By the end, students proudly displayed their creations, feeling motivated and accomplished. Overall, the Origami Making Activity proved to be a joyful and educational experience that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
