National Pollution Control Day, also known as Anti-Pollution Day, is observed every year on 2nd December in India. The day commemorates the tragic Bhopal Gas Tragedy of 1984, one of the world’s worst industrial disasters, which took thousands of lives and left a lasting reminder of the dangers of environmental neglect.
