On 13th December, STEM World School orchestrated an exhilarating excursion to Science City for the students of classes 10 and 12. Students boarded the bus early in the morning, brimming with enthusiasm, and a palpable curiosity humming through the aisles. Upon arrival, the sleek, modern architecture and expansive campus left the students awestruck. They first explored the “Dark Ride,” tracing the majestic evolution of life. The students then drifted through the Digital Panorama. This was followed by “Science in Sphere,” a breathtaking globe where projectors painted Earth’s climate, storms and ocean currents, turning complex data into a visual symphony accessible to all ages. It stands as the only state-of-the-art Science on a Sphere (SOS) facility in Eastern India, powered by NOAA datasets. The day balanced education with entertainment, sparking scientific curiosity, tightening bonds among peers and teachers. Indeed, the trip to Science City proved to be a memorable odyssey that broadened horizons and left everyone inspired.
