Rabindra Jayanti Celebration Classes PG – KG (2026)

Rabindranath Tagore was a poet, writer, composer and philosopher. He was born on 7 May 1861 in the Tagore family of Jorasanko, Kolkata. He was the youngest son of Debendranath Tagore and Sarada Devi. He belonged to a rich and cultured family. He received his education at home. At the age of 17 he went to England to become a barrister. He started writing at a very young age. The most popular works of Rabindranath Tagore are Gitanjali, Ghare-Baire and Sonar Tari. He was the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize in 1913 for Gitanjali.
