Plantation Day Celebration Classes 6 – 12 (2026)

STEM World School celebrated Plantation Day with great enthusiasm on 3rd July 2026. The celebration aimed to inspire students to develop a love for nature and understand the importance of protecting the environment. As part of the celebration, students from Classes 3 to 12 actively participated by bringing different types of plants and saplings. Class 3 students brought medicinal plants such as Tulsi, Aloe Vera, and Mint. Class 4 students brought tree saplings like Mango and Neem, Class 5 students brought shrub plants, and students of Classes 6 to 12 also brought a variety of tree saplings and ornamental plants. All the plants were submitted to the respective class teachers. The programme included an informative talk on the importance of trees and environmental conservation. Students learned that trees are our best friends as they provide us with oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide, reduce air pollution, prevent soil erosion, bring rainfall, provide food, medicine, shade, and shelter to birds and animals, and help maintain ecological balance. They also understood that planting more trees is one of the best ways to protect our planet and ensure a healthy future for generations to come. Teachers and students together planted the saplings in different parts of the school campus and took a pledge to nurture and protect them regularly. The celebration made students aware of their responsibility towards nature and encouraged them to plant more trees in their homes and surroundings. Plantation Day at STEM World School was a meaningful and memorable event that reinforced the message: "Plant a Tree, Save the Earth."
