Rath Yatra Celebration for Pre Primary (2026)

Rath Yatra is one of the most famous festivals in India. It is mainly celebrated in Puri, Odisha. The festival is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, along with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra. During Rath Yatra, the idols of the three deities are placed on beautifully decorated wooden chariots. Thousands of devotees pull the chariots with ropes as a symbol of faith and devotion. People sing devotional songs, pray, and celebrate with great joy. Rath Yatra teaches us the values of unity, love, faith, and kindness.
